"Night school" becomes the Workshops of the Quay. They receive new proposals which enrich offer in amateur and curious for today's art. In drawing and in painting is added the computer graphics which will give the opportunity, as a front taste in the style of drawing, to start to learn in assemblages and visual effects on computer. An introduction in the engraving will also allow to be confronted with edition, with the realisation of a notebook linked up.
Having opened to the pupils of the high school in sections plastic arts and history of arts as in the curious, a workshop of introduction in contemporary art allows to arrest of new ways to work: canvassing, hypotheses, critical attitude, etc. This workshop is a chance to meet artists introducing their job.
Finally, conceived as an experimental laboratory and first given to the students of the Quay and to the pupils of the music conservatory, a workshop sound allows to open the horizons of contemporary sound practices. He allows to meet artists, interpreters, musicians, programme planners, compositors, etc.. These conferences will be free opened to the public. The workshops of the Quay are opened to all those who, from 15 years, want to discover or to deepen an artistic practice in the contact of the students, teachers and of the artists of the college of higher education of art of Mulhouse. Denis Ansel
Born in Basel in 1958, Denis Ansel lives and works in Mulhouse. Its artistic training turned to painting. He participated in many collective exhibitions, in Switzerland, in Germany, in Italy and introduced personal exhibitions in Mulhouse, of which the last in 2004 in the Museum of Fine arts, called " Your nice red ".
The drawing writes a distance between the beings of language that we are and the visible. To explore this report three working directions are offered this year, to know: 1. Perspective, 2. The picture as mental the cosa, 3. The representation of the human body. An important material will come to support every new notion.

Denis Ansel
Workshop (on Tuesday)
These sessions are suitable for the persons who were already initiated to the practice of painting. It is not about a course properly speaking, but rather about a workshop in which a pictorial research will be able to be completed successfully.
When languages and pictures have as function to immobilise, to congeal the living being in a coding, the painter gives a breath in visibilities, an unknown whose author he is. It is in this perspective that becomes attached this workshop.
According to necessity and opportunities of instant a material written, filmed or painted will be subjected to reflexion, and an active participation in the life of the school (conferences, holidays, expos) is to envisage, as well as a passage in the places of broadcasting of culture in city (expos and guided tours to the Spinning mill, museum of Nice Arts, Mulhouse 000, etc.).
Introductory course (on Wednesday)
Painting puts pictures to the test. She works them and allows them opinions, ideas, imagination to be transformed completely opposite. To paint consists in constructing a bridge between things and one, in question links that we maintain with the world. This course offers to go at the end of workmanship, knowledges, effects of the picturalit and from format so that hatches aptitude for astonishment, for style, for overtaking. Plastic, literary and film arts recorded by history will help to explore the pertinence of painting.
DRAWING, approach of colour and sensitisation in the engraving (15) *
Francis Hungler
Born in Alsace in 1959, one awards a diploma in plastic arts of the Arts deco of Strasbourg to Francis Hungler. He displayed in Venice, D sseldorf, Berlin, Paris and Rome. In France, its job is displayed in artoth ques and galleries of art. Comfortable with subjects and colours, he engraves, he is pressing, he sculpts, he paints, he models an imaginary world with the insurance of a creator done wonders for the self-confidence, who has talks with his imagination.
This workshop must allow to the pupils to develop the plastic and definite representation of various subjects, both by pure observation and by personal graphic investigation. The aesthetic prehension of a landscape, of an object or of a model living with the addition of cultural references will be in the middle of activity and of offered thematic choices. Opened enough, they will allow to answer waitings and desires of each. Every session will be a questioning on the look carried on subjects to clear of it its own sensitivity and an occasion to take part in a rewarding experience.
This workshop also offers a sensitisation, this year, in the techniques of engraving.
COMPUTER GRAPHICS (10) *
Florian Sabatier
Born in Dijon in 1977, this graphic designer of training teaches computer graphics the Quay. Specialist of software of graphic creation, Florian Sabatier works also as a freelancer in Paris. He accomplishes, conceives, works many creations out (Internet sites, multimedia, video support, bars, logotypes, etc) for public or private contractors.

Yves Carrey
All Mulhousiens was willy-nilly next to a work accomplished by Yves Carrey (famous Schweissdissi m talleux of the street of the Wild). This atypical sculptor in so original course as his work, can use subjects to manufacture them in his picture, while giving them a new life The wood, the metal, the iron, the plastic, etc, everything is pretext to be transformed.
Art it is the Man and all Men are artists Each of us in feeling one day happiness to see appearing under the fingers a form or an object, so unassuming it is. If it is your case and if the desire to go farther even or simply to deepen a technology attracts you, I offer to bring you my experience of the job of the object in three dimension and whatever is the material; without carrying qualitative judgement because the creative act belongs to everybody and could not be reserved for some rather than for others.
CONTEMPORARY ART in / temporality / (15) *
Sarah Lang
Awarded a diploma by the Quay in 2002, Sarah Lang is graphic designer in Strasbourg today. Specialised in the serigraphy, she multiplies collaboration with other artists on plans of edition. She also intercedes with educational services of museums, as part of pedagogic workshops.
This workshop offers to discover and to test artistic step " contemporary. In this direction, it defines itself as "laboratory", with the installation of a personal plan constructed through debates, through observation
and of the bet in situation of reflexion and of jobs of every participant.
For it, an access to different artistic techniques is offered in the workshops of the school, according to the needs of plan: photograph, video, serigraphy, engraving, volume, drawing, painting, installation, style of drawing, etc.
Meetings with artists and teachers of the school will be organised according to the themes of course: in / temporality /
These themes are opened, so that each could register his own artistic step there, that is to say find how adapt it. It will concern the relation of creation in time, reappraised since modern art and decisive in contemporary art.

Francis Hungler
The Quay, College of higher education of Art of Mulhouse opens its workshop of Engraving to the artists and amateurs interested by the practice of the engraving in copperplate.
Across traditional techniques: Top dries, Aquatint, black way, sweetens, a more alternative approach of the Engraving will be approached: scotch tape, photographic techniques, collages. The exploration of the methods of inking and of impression will come to supplement the training as well as an accompaniment supported by artistic references.
